Art on the Lake This Weekend

Be sure to come out to Guntersville this weekend for Art on the Lake. Held at the Guntersville (Alabama) Recreation Center at 1503 Sunset Drive, this 53rd annual show will take place rain or shine. Admission is $2 for individuals age 13 or higher.

This is our first show in Guntersville, so we look forward to visiting with everyone there.

Plate Breaker Jewelry may now be purchased at Chick's Interiors in Fort Payne, Alabama. Chick's Interiors sells antiques, painted furniture, and other items for the home. Be sure to drop by their store at 216 Godfrey Avenue Northeast in Fort Payne.

Northeast Alabama Craftmens' Association This Weekend!

Plate Breaker Jewelry will be at the Northeast Alabama Craftmen's Association Christmas Show this weekend, December 6-8. The show, located at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville, Alabama, will have approximately 150 vendors and will operate during the following hours: 

• 9 am - 7 pm on Friday, December 6
• 9 am - 7 pm on Saturday, December 7
• noon - 5 pm on Sunday, December 8

This is our last show this year so be sure to come over and do some Christmas shopping.

Plate Breaker to be at NACC Holiday Shopping Fair

Plate Breaker Jewelry will be at the NACC Holiday Shopping Fair on Thursday, December 5 from 9:00 am until 1:00 pm. The fair will be located in the student center on the NACC campus. For more information, contact Trisha.

Next Show: Robertson Chapel Methodist Church Bazaar

Be sure to come out Saturday to Robertson Chapel United Methodist Church in Rainsville, Alabama for their annual Christmas Bazaar. The show will run from 9 am until 3 pm.

New Broken Plate Earrings

Plate Breaker Jewelry now has a limited supply of broken plate earrings. These earrings are made from small pieces of broken plates and are smoothed with a diamond bit. The findings are hypo-allergenic, nickel-free. We have posted a couple of these to the online store, but more will be available at upcoming shows.

New Designs with Double Wrapped Wire

Broken Plates Transformed

A few days ago we posted a photo of some of the pieces on which Trisha was working. At this point they had been shaped, smoothed and drilled. (Illustration A)

Now, these pieces have been transformed into pendants for necklaces and are ready to be worn. (Illustration B, enlarged below)
